Beneficial Ownership Interest Report

There is a new federal rule under the Corporate Transparency Act that requires new LLCs to file a Beneficial Ownership Interest Report with the U.S. government Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FINCEN) within 30 days of an initial LLC filing (extended to 60 days for 2024 only).

• It requires a photo identification, date of birth, and an SSN or ITIN.
